09October2011- Special Edition : Las Vegas

This week took us to Las Vegas. We were a few minutes late and ended up on the back row. Not a lot of faces in view on the back row so this week is more of a "loosely inspired by" group of drawings. Before you ask- no there were no pirates or troll wizards at church. There really was a lady who I kept thinking had busted her head but I guess it was kind of decorative.

01/02 October 2011- Special Conference Edition

Priesthood Meeting

This kids was sitting across the aisle from me. He had good hair.

I love Elder Hollands jowls .

I don't know this guys name but he talked about a missionary from Spain who met the man who baptized his father.

I drew this guy while Pres. Eyring was talking. He shares some common features with Pres. Eyring but he looks nothing like him whatsoever... so he's just some guy- not Pres. Eyring.

I've drawn Pres. Monson as a "Muppet" since high school. I love muppets and I think he would be the coolest muppet ever.

This is not the Joker and is not supposed to look evil. My wife thinks he looks a little too creepy. I have no excuse, I should do a real drawing of President Monson.

Sunday Sessions- The view from the love sac in which I tried really hard to stay awake and eventually had to move to the couch.

Loosely based on my boy Little-T. Looks nothing like him.

Elder Hales looking a little stretched. I shouldn't draw laying in a love sac with my paper on a book flat on my lap- distorts the view a bit.

President Monson with a narrow face- Ugh- Should really work on a nice one..

This guy didn't speak. But I wish he would have.

Last week was slow at church. I was sitting in a corner with no view of the speakers, looking at the sides of peoples heads. So we get profiles.

This one I made a little doodle in nursery and then came home and played some more with it. he's supposed to be a three year old though I think he looks way older than that. Oh well. I never claimed I was any good. Just having fun.
